Breathing life back into the heart of our town, the newly re-opened and refurbished Nelly’s Bar sits proudly on West Street and promises a warm and friendly hospitable service, just as she has for the last 150 years.
Come and enjoy a perfectly poured pint and watch the world go by from our stylish and cosy front bar. Fill your belly with a delicious meal prepared with fresh local ingredients. Indulge in a sharing platter with friends in the Parlour Bar. Catch up with all the goss in one of our cosy snugs. We cannot wait to welcome you.

What are your opening times?
We are open from Thursday to Sunday from 12 daily
What is the menu like at your restaurant?
Our menu features a mix of traditional Irish cuisine and contemporary dishes, all made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. We also have a extensive list of cocktails, local and international beers, and a wine list with options from around the world.
Do you offer any vegan or vegetarian options?
Yes, we offer a range of vegan and vegetarian options on our menu, including appetizers, entrees, and sides. Our staff would be happy to assist you in choosing a dish that meets your dietary restrictions.
Is your restaurant kid-friendly?
Yes, we are a family-friendly establishment and welcome guests of all ages. We offer a children's menu and high chairs for younger diners.
What is the dress code for your bar and restaurant?
We have a relaxed dress code, and guests are welcome to dress in whatever makes them comfortable. However, we do ask that guests refrain from wearing clothing that is excessively casual or revealing.

Do you reserve tables for groups and events?
Yes we take large bookings for groups. You can choose from our standard menu or can choose from our finger food menus or group set menus. We have great area sin the bar that really suits groups too.
